SUPPORT COORDINATION
Support Coordination can take the stress out of organising your supports. It is what the NDIS calls a ‘capacity building’ support – designed to give you the skills and confidence to handle this yourself in future.

ASSISTANCE WITH DAILY LIVING
This support relates to assisting with and/or supervising personal tasks of daily life to enable a participant to live as autonomously as possible. These supports are provided individually to participants and can be provided in a range of environments, including the participant’s own home.
HOW CAN WE HELP:
Mobility
Helping you get around the house with greater as – such as transfers from bed or chair to wheelchair or toilet.
Dressing & Grooming
Helping you get going each morning with hoist assistance, getting dressed and ready for the day.
Bathroom Assistance
Toileting or bladder and bowel management, providing help with your personal care – showering, teeth cleaning.
Medication Assistance
Helping to ensure you take the right medication at the correct times.
Cooking Assistance & Meal Preparation
Preparing and cooking meals and snacks together.
Paying Bills
Helping you pay your bills on time so you don’t have to worry.
Washing & Ironing
Assistance with laundry.
Skills Building
Building your skills to help you manage things like cooking, cleaning, getting dressed, using a computer or gardening more independently.
Socialisation
Helping you to spend time with friends
Personal and Domestic Services
Assistance with household tasks
ASSISTANCE WITH SOCIAL AND COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION
HOW CAN WE HELP:
Community Access
Helping you get out into your neighbourhood and into your local town or city by going with you from A to B.
Social Activities
Helping you try new things or continue existing activities whilst making friends – from hobbies, recreation, leisure, sports and arts to community programs like gardening or volunteering.
Appointments
Attending appointments & shopping – getting you to and from your medical, school or job appointments.
INCREASED SOCIAL AND COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION
This Capacity Building category of NDIS funding offers supports to help you to access your community for social and recreation activities either individually or in a group. It can also support attending a centre-based program to develop skills that will help you to access the community independently.
HOW CAN WE HELP:
Developing life skills like public transport training, help attending appointments, shopping and bill paying
Recreation and leisure activities
Personal interest activities like art, woodwork, beauty, cooking and volunteering
Supported holidays
Other activities that build skills and independence
TEMPORARY TRANSFORMATION PAYMENT (TTP)
Temporary Transformation Payment (TTP) was introduced by the NDIS in the July 2019-20 price review. The TTP is a charge on top of the base rate price limit for supports in the Assistance with Self Care Activities and the Assistance to Access Community, Social and Recreational Activities. For more information on the services covered by TTP, please refer to the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price limits 2021-22 (1 March 2022 Release).
